Walking is becoming easier every day on Main Street.  The sidewalks on both sides of the street should be done by the end of today.  Please continue to watch your step, because there are openings and protruding hardware where streetlights and trees will be installed.  The streetlights are due in from California in early July; they should be installed by mid-July.  New trees will be planted in the fall.

There is access to the parking lot next to the former dollar store.  The lot is privately owned.  Improvements to the parking lot are planned, but they are at the owner’s discretion, so they will not be part of the Department of Transportation project this summer.  Parking should not be a problem, so come on down!
