Comedy by Bill Manhoff. Directed by Ted Pugh and assistant directed by Fern Sloan (who co-directed I MIGHT BE EDGAR ALLAN POE earlier this season), and performed by David Anderson and Ashley Mayne, with lighting design by Deena Pewtherer and set designs by Nick Thielker, the story follows the unusual relationship of a prostitute/aspiring actress and an uptight wannabe writer as they, against their better judgment, fall in love. Walking the dog Theater’s 11th season has included: I MIGHT BE EDGAR ALLAN POE, MIRACLE TOMATO, and RED CARNATIONS. In August the company will present UNDER MILK WOOD, in collaboration with PS21, in October it will remount HAMLET, in collaboration with The Actors’ Ensemble and Shakespeare Alive!, which will perform in New York City as well, and in December it will restage its seasonal favorite A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Walking the dog Theater, Inc. is a professional not-for-profit theater company based in Hudson, NY. Suitable for children from 14 years of age.
