NON-CREDIT FALL COURSE: JUGGLING AND CIRCUS SKILLS
Run away with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and be home by bedtime! Circus Skills offer a great bridge between mind and body. Juggling is a truly ambidextrous activity, stimulating the brain, enhancing co-ordination, and encouraging healthy movement. It’s a physical skill that’s accessible to all, regardless of level of fitness or experience. Students will get an introduction to basic 3 object juggling, object balancing, basic funambulistics (stilts, rolla bola, rolling globe) and partner juggling. Each session will focus on warm up and dexterity exercises, skill building and practice, and goal evaluation. Instructor will help each student set realistic goals for weekly practice and final, informal presentation. Great skill set for actors seeking to enhance their versatility. All equipment for the course is provided.
