Biodiesel Workshop

Biodiesel fuel can run in any diesel engine and some home heating equipment. Learn to make your own inexpensive biodiesel with common ingredients in a processor built from off-the-shelf parts. At this hands-on workshop, we’ll build the processor from the ground up and start producing fuel from waste vegetable oil. This class combines lab, practical, theory and Q&A.

· Testing oil quality (titration)
· Calculating methanol and catalyst formulas

· Washing
· Fuel quality testing
· Basic safety
