The Columbia County Cancer Walk/Ride

The 5th Annual Cancer Walk in Collaboration With the 2nd Annual Cancer Ride. Proceeds from the Walk will benefit the Cancer Support Program, a program of the Healthcare Consortium. Proceeds from the Ride will benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation and The American Cancer Society. These funds help with things such as medical tests not covered by insurance, living expenses, travel expenses related to medical care, nutrition counseling, etc…
ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL STAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY!!!!
Entry for walkers and bikers is $25.00. Children under 12 are free and MUST be accompanied by an adult. Check-in begins at 7:00AM. An approved bicycle helmet is required. Please arrive an hour before you ride or walk to register or sign additional insurance information. We are offering a choice of three rides: 10, 25, or 50 miles, beginning and ending at Chatham High School. The Three Mile Cancer Walk will leave Chatham High School at 9:15AM once all bikers have departed.
The rides are mainly on back roads through gorgeous farm country. With breathtaking views of mountain and river scenery and historic homes; what a rewarding way to raise funds for those in need who are affected by cancer.
